Sold Properties - 2005

In the past year I have been very busy. Since the blog and web site are new I thought it would be appropriate to update everyone on some of my recent success previous to this year. Soon I will do individual write ups for the homes I sold in 2006 so look for those soon because there are some good ones.

The previous year was a lot of fun!
I worked with buyers and sellers and we work hard to accomplish their goals. It was busy, hard work, and very rewarding. The goals of my clients were clear and I am proud that we accomplished them. I would like to thank all of my clients for their support and continued loyalty.

Quint Ave
Matt started his search for a new home buying calling me. We set him up online and began looking at places to get educated on the options. After visiting just a few properties this first-time homebuyer needed to find a home that had both parking, space, and something that was unique. That was going to be a tall order in the Brighton, Brookline, and Allston market. But, there was one property that I had been watching and the round living room, two-bedroom condo, had a hard to find roof deck; all with the much-needed parking was the one he needed to see. It was just what he was looking for in a home. I made the deal work and he was more then pleased with the place. Good luck and have fun with that great living room!

Wellesley Avenue
Irv and Fran called me ready to relocated back Massachusetts from Virginia. Their timing was flexible and their need to find the perfect home was apparent. They made many trips up to visit dozens of properties in Newton, Needham, Natick, Wayland, and Brookline, and they considered a few. We had a great time together and it all ended with the new town home in the Boston suburb Natick. (Oh and their son bought a house with me too…see Tappen) Welcome Back to MA!

Carriage Hill Circle
Alan and Merle decided to seek out and find something different from their town home in Newton. Many properties had been considered and there was no rush in finding a new place. We visited properties her and there with no pressure to move. Then after some consideration we got to this home and it took only moments for them to make their decision. A wooded back yard, open spaces, and lots of square footage, they chose a beautiful oasis. Enjoy the space and peace!

Westview
When they started to consider selling their condo (see Lodgen Court) Chris and Aracely first turned to me to help them learn about their options in finding a new home. We spent months and visited dozens of homes throughout the metro Boston area in towns like Newton, Needham, Watertown, Waltham, Wayland, and Natick. It started to become clear in what they wanted in a home. It needed to be spacious, fresh, young, and close to the commuter rail. We spent a lot of time together, had lots of fun, and that landed us at this great place for the two of them. An open floor plan, yard, deck, and walking distance to the commuter rail. I hope they enjoy their new town, new life, and have a Happy engagement!

Lodgen Court
Once Aracely and Chris knew that I could find them their new home. I staged and marketed their two-bedroom property quickly. It didn’t take long, with my premier marketing, the receipt of multiple offers and strong negotiations we sold it quickly. The property was on the market for 15 days, sold for asking, and set a record for the building. Other units have yet to sell! (Read their testimonial)

Massachusetts Ave
It was important to find a home for Mike that was both unique and convenient to his medical profession. Without question this first time homebuyer wanted to be in Boston’s South End. This unique property really has the sophistication and feel that compliments Mike. We searched for homes that both had the convenience and the charm of the South End. The hardwood floors, large windows, smart layout, and history of the building sold him on a home that had everything he needed. I enjoyed finding him the home and I hope he enjoys the new space!

Tappan Street
Adam knew what he wanted. We visited dozens of properties in Newton, Brighton, and Brookline we learned that he had his heart set on living in Brookline. I showed him many properties as we both waited for that perfect space. Then one day as a property just went on the market I knew, sent Adam the photos, and that was it. Adam looked at the condo as the listing had hit the market. It was perfect, location, parking, condition, and style it has it all. To top it all off we shaved some money off the price and the house was his. It was meant for you and I wish you great happiness!

Fairview Road
As Brian and Lisa started their home search focused on the North Shore I learned what they wanted in a property. Then after some consultation we talked and decided that the metro west area of Boston was the better choice for the two. We matched their criteria with many homes and I pointed out a few that I thought could be great choices. It took only a short drive from their Brookline apartment to their new Framingham townhouse to see what they wanted. They wanted me to insure they acquired this Framingham home. After serious negotiations, detailed transaction management, and my support they got the space they wanted. A home that was freshly renovated, large yard, and hardwood floors that sits at the end of a cul-de-sac. Enjoy that family room and I hope you get the pool table. (Read their testimonial)

California Street
When John called me to look at this home in Newton he was focused. He knew this piece of real estate was an opportunity but wanted to insure he made the right choice. After a lot of consultation, consideration, and a few visits John gave the green light. I negotiated and managed yet another purchase at a great price. He was please to buy this home and has already started making improvement. All the best John!

Story Avenue
Scott and Alison wanted to see a home on the North Shore of Massachusetts quickly. After touring that home I had hesitations about its entire feel. As a result I took them to another home I knew about in the area. It was a better price and a better home. It was that house I wanted them to see that they fell in love with. I found them the better house for the better price. I know they will have better success with that home and wish them all the best!

Palomino Drive
Dave and Mary Lynn decided to start their search by giving me a call. Once I set up their online account it didn’t take them long to get addicted to looking at the listings. We spent a lot of time visiting dozens of properties that fit their general criteria. As we visited more homes we learned what was important to them in a home. We visited many towns outside of Boston. The neighborhoods of Franklin began speaking to them the most. A property that we once thought of had come back on the market and we took a look. We had seen dozens of homes and this once was different. There was a yard, garage, three bedrooms, and an open living/dinning room that was a rare find. I negotiated a great price, had repairs made to the property, and they closed on a home that they loved. The three of us had a great time searching and acquiring a home. I know they will enjoy their time in this new place, good luck! (Read their testimonial)

Dale Avenue
When I saw this house, I knew that Tony and Andrea would really like the home. In fact it was one of the first places I showed them when we started their search. After that I showed them dozens of homes and educated them on the market. After a while we noticed we had been comparing each house they visited with the first. Over a month later we went back. Deck, hot tub, yard, and a perfect layout sold them on the house. I got the agent to give us a better price on the house and it was a lock. Already Tony and Andrea have made the house a better place!
